What God Says We Truly Need in Life

Understanding Our True Needs
Hey guys! I am back and life's has been great and very hard so far. I have been going through a lot especially since I'm 13. I've learned so many things over the summer and not only over the summer but I learned a lot after summer ended to. I'm excited to share everything with y'all even though people are probably not reading this because this was just for contest but still.... there's always a chance lol. This is being written by me on a Monday morning at like 7:21 AM. I learned about this over this weekend and I woke up this morning and spent like 2 hours with God. In the hustle and bustle of daily life, it is easy for us to lose sight of what truly matters. Many people chase after wealth, material possessions, and status, believing that these aspirations will fulfill their needs. However, the Bible reminds us that our real needs are much deeper and more profound. The teachings found within its pages guide us toward understanding what we require for a fulfilled and meaningful life.
Divine Assurance in Matthew 6:30-33
In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus provides profound insight into what God believes we need. Matthew 6:30-33 states: "But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith! Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What will we eat?' or 'What will we drink?' or 'What will we wear?' For it is the Gentiles who strive for all these things; and indeed your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
Through these verses, we learn that God's concern extends to our practical needs. He acknowledges that we need clothing, food, and shelter, but emphasizes that our primary focus should be on the kingdom of God. By seeking righteousness and aligning our priorities with divine will, God assures us that our material needs will be met. This passage encourages us to trust in God's provision rather than succumbing to anxiety.
The Principle of Faithfulness in Luke 16:10
Additionally, in Luke 16:10, we see another significant perspective on our needs: "Whoever is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much; and whoever is dishonest in a very little is dishonest also in much." This verse highlights the importance of faithfulness in the smallest matters as a precursor to being entrusted with greater responsibilities. God calls us to be stewards of what we have been given, emphasizing that our needs are met through our integrity and diligence in managing the resources entrusted to us.
The deeper implication here illustrates that seeking a life of integrity and faithfulness is equally crucial to our fulfillment. God has made provisions for us, but we must actively participate through our actions and choices. By focusing on being faithful in small things, we cultivate an environment where God can bless us with what we genuinely need.
Conclusion: Prioritizing God in Our Lives
Ultimately, the Bible teaches us that our true needs extend beyond the physical and material. Trusting in God, seeking His kingdom, and striving for righteousness must be at the heart of our existence. It is through such prioritization that we can find peace and fulfillment, allowing God to meet our needs as promised. In a world filled with distractions, let us remember to focus our energies on what truly matters—our relationship with God and the faithful stewardship of what we have been given. #RealTalk- I've learned what I truly need. All I need to do is work hard to be an amazing disciple of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. The things we need will be given to us when we seek God's kingdom and his righteousness first. And... even though we might need certain things very badly we cannot reach those goals by ourselves. Let's pray: Lord we thank you for being so faithful to us even though we might not notice it. We thank you for guiding us through our lives and teaching us the ways we should live. Please help us to surrender ourselves to you and except your way of living. Please help us to seek your kingdom and your righteousness first instead of trying to do everything on our own. And help us to notice certain things we do in our lives that you don't think is right. We thank you and we love you for everything Lord. In Jesus name, Amen. If y'all don't know how to pray read Matthew 6:7-13. You can use the Youversion bible app or just ask ChatGPT.
